Androgen Deficiency in the Aging Male (ADAM Score)

Background Information

The ADAM (Androgen Deficiency in Aging Males) questionnaire consists of 10 questions that help determine if a male patient suffers from androgen deficiency (low testosterone) and whether or not further testing and follow-up are needed.   This calculator will indicate your total score, responses to each of the questions, and whether or not further consultation with a physician is recommended.

Androgen deficiency (aka Low-T, andropause) - This condition is often under-diagnosed. A positive result from this tool and your list of symptoms (print out the results) can be reviewed by a physician along with additional testing to determine if testosterone replacement is required. Additionally, print out the results from our more extensive questionnaire: Aging Males' Symptoms (AMS) scale. This is a well validated 17-item score that provides a more quantitative assessment and takes around 5 minutes to complete.
