GlobalRPh RX List - NOCDURNA
- Product / population
- Desmopressin - NOCDURNA sublingual tablets; selected source sections, not a full prescribing monograph.
- Renal measure
- eGFR, mL/min/1.73 m2; retain body-surface-area indexing.
RX mirror: this is not independent corroboration of its underlying label. Check dated-label and formulation limitations.
Sex-specific sublingual doses and desmopressin-base/acetate strengths are not interchangeable with nasal products.
Renal dosing, restrictions and evidence limits
No renal adjustment is required at eGFR >=50 mL/min/1.73 m2; use below 50 is contraindicated. Normal serum sodium is required before starting or restarting. Check sodium within the first week, again at one month and periodically, more often with age >=65 or other hyponatremia risks. Minimize fluids from one hour before through eight hours after dosing. Prior hyponatremia, loop diuretics, systemic/inhaled glucocorticoids, heart failure and uncontrolled hypertension are important additional exclusions. Passing the renal cutoff alone does not establish eligibility.
