Account Privacy Notice
This notice applies only to optional Sync ID registration and synchronization. Guest use remains available without an account.
Minimal account information
The account system generates a Sync ID and account ID. Required learner-supplied information is limited to a passphrase, confirmation of age 13 or older, and acceptance of this notice and the Account Terms. A display name is optional.
Information not collected
No email address, location, street address, telephone number, date of birth, employer, school, patient information, or health information is requested.
Learning information synchronized
The service may synchronize tested-term records, provisional mastery and review status, examination summaries, best scores, passed-exam status, signed learning receipts, saved study IDs, earned level references, issued certificate references, database version, and synchronization timestamps.
The store is not designed to retain ordinary search queries, unrestricted notes, patient information, health information, or a complete click-by-click history.
Security and storage
Records are stored as protected JSON and text files in a private sibling directory denied to direct web access. Synchronized progress and saved-study identifiers are encrypted at rest. Passphrases and recovery codes are stored only as one-way hashes. Secure sessions, CSRF protection, rate limiting, file locking, atomic writes, and previous-record backups are used.
Recovery codes
Eight one-use recovery codes are displayed during account creation or regeneration. GlobalRPh stores only hashes and cannot display the original codes again. Each successful recovery permanently consumes one code.
Guest pathway
A guest account is not created. Guest progress remains in browser local storage and can be transferred with a manually exported JSON backup.
Account deletion and certificates
Deleting a Sync ID account removes the account profile, recovery-code hashes, indexes, and synchronized progress. Existing issued certificate records remain separate for verification, retrieval, and revocation and are not automatically revoked.
Age limitation
Registration requires confirmation that the learner is at least 13 years old. Learners who should not register may continue as guests without providing personal information.
