Sulfinpyrazone

Usual Dosing (Adults)

Gout: 100-200 mg orally bid - increasing to 400 mg bid (Max daily dose: 800 mg). Monitor uric acid concentrations. Decrease to 200 mg/day as a maintenance dose.

Renal Dosing

[CRCL >50 ml/min]: no change

[<50]: Avoid use.

Hemodialysis

Avoid use.
