According to the CDC,
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that can cause illness in both
humans and animals. Some variants infect only animals, however, in the
case of COVID-19, it eventually spread from animals to humans and finally from
human to human after further mutations.
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, and fatigue while other symptoms include headache, diarrhea, lymphopenia, and dyspnea. The symptoms usually appear 2-14 days after exposure.
