Annual version match under review
The selected recording has release evidence, but its version has not been matched to the retained annual entry. It is omitted from Beyond the yearly lists until this match is resolved.

About The Supremes
The Supremes developed from the Primettes and signed with Motown in 1961. The trio of Diana Ross, Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard became closely associated with songs written and produced by Holland-Dozier-Holland, including Where Did Our Love Go, Baby Love and You Can't Hurry Love. Their coordinated presentation complemented the records' pop appeal. The group was later billed as Diana Ross and the Supremes. After Ross left for a solo career, Jean Terrell joined, and subsequent lineups extended the group's work into the 1970s.
