April Wine - artist-hosted Canadian singles archive
The Buerster physical-record collection hosted on the official artist site identifies original Canadian singles by catalog number and year, distinguishes non-LP and live tracks, and notes single versus album lengths. It dates You Won't Dance with Me to 1976 and Rock Myself to Sleep to 1985. Its unresolved 1974-75 date for I Wouldn't Want to Lose Your Love is not forced to a single year. | Reviewed 2026-10-19

April Wine - artist-hosted US singles archive
The artist-hosted physical-record catalog distinguishes commercial singles, promos, acetates and reissues. It identifies the 1974 non-album I'm on Fire for You Baby studio single and the 1977 London Rock N' Roll Is a Vicious Game single before First Glance. The collection selects original commercial studio releases, not later live performances or acetate dates. | Reviewed 2026-10-19

ARTIST BACKGROUND

About April Wine

April Wine began in Nova Scotia in late 1969 with Myles Goodwyn and members of the Henman family. The group moved from Halifax to Montreal in 1970 and recorded for Aquarius, with Goodwyn becoming a central songwriter. Its catalog balances direct rock songs with ballads: Roller and I Like to Rock preceded Just Between You and Me. That ballad appeared on The Nature of the Beast, released in January 1981 as the band's international audience expanded.
