In the yearly lists

This selected recording is beyond the current yearly lists.

The retained candidate is in the specialist rap list only and lacks edition metadata. The selected recording is the original explicit 2000 Dido collaboration, not the cleaned presentation or the later Elton John live performance. No actual annual candidate exists, so its annual presence is Beyond without inventing an annual provisional link.

ARTIST BACKGROUND

About Eminem

Eminem emerged from Detroit's rap scene with a rapid delivery, densely constructed rhymes and the provocative alter ego Slim Shady. The Slim Shady LP and The Marshall Mathers LP brought that character into songs that mixed dark humor with personal and social conflict. Stan used a fictional fan's correspondence as narrative, while Lose Yourself connected his music with the film 8 Mile. Later recordings, including Recovery, continued his exploration of personal struggle through sharply articulated, often confrontational performances.
