Annual version match under review

The selected recording has release evidence, but its version has not been matched to the retained annual entry. It is omitted from Beyond the yearly lists until this match is resolved.

The artist documents the selected 1996 single and distinct European and U.S. album programs. The actual 1997/1998 annual entries do not identify their vocal or production edition; title and package chronology alone do not establish equivalence to the selected original single. The annual link remains provisional without claiming a proven different performance.

ARTIST BACKGROUND

About Backstreet Boys

Backstreet Boys are an American vocal group formed in Orlando in 1993. Their recordings center on alternating lead voices and close harmonies, from the early European releases to the expansive ballads of Millennium and the rhythmic pop of Black & Blue. Later projects including Never Gone, Unbreakable and DNA extend the group catalog across changing production styles and periods of membership. Those group recordings remain distinct from the members' individual solo releases.
