ARTIST BACKGROUND

About Backstreet Boys

Backstreet Boys are an American vocal group formed in Orlando in 1993. Their recordings center on alternating lead voices and close harmonies, from the early European releases to the expansive ballads of Millennium and the rhythmic pop of Black & Blue. Later projects including Never Gone, Unbreakable and DNA extend the group catalog across changing production styles and periods of membership. Those group recordings remain distinct from the members' individual solo releases.

Backstreet Boys - current combined program and explicit extended edition
The current U.S.-style program carries a misleading 1996 header despite later 1997 tracks. It explicitly distinguishes the Everybody Extended Version and retains 1995 for We've Got It Goin' On Radio Edit. About this artist collection

The retained Backstreet Boys identity remains a vocal group. Member solo recordings and the separately credited NKOTBSB collaboration are not aliases. The selected recordings retain their original group era, including the four-member Unbreakable period.

First released means the earliest documented official public release of the selected recording. A year-only date does not assert a month or day. Later singles, chart years, compilations, remasters and reissues do not replace that date.
