Annual version match under review
The selected recording has release evidence, but its version has not been matched to the retained annual entry. It is omitted from Beyond the yearly lists until this match is resolved.
Selection specifies the original album performance; the retained annual title has no independently established edit or mix. The official Singles source distinguishes original single versions, so the old recording ID is not merged by title alone.

About The Doors
The Doors formed in Los Angeles around Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore. Their 1967 debut introduced songs including Break on Through and Light My Fire. Six studio albums with Morrison developed a repertoire drawing on rock, blues and extended song forms; later band albums and individual members' solo work form separate parts of their history.
