ARTIST BACKGROUND

About Usher

Usher is an American singer, songwriter and dancer whose childhood moved from Dallas to Chattanooga and then Atlanta. Local singing competitions preceded his self-titled debut album in 1994. My Way brought a wider audience in 1997, followed by 8701 in 2001. Songs such as U Remind Me, U Got It Bad and U Don't Have to Call became central to that early-2000s phase of his R&B career.

About this artist collection

The retained Usher identity and biography are preserved, with USHER treated as capitalization of the same artist. Every selected duet or featured performance retains its full credited collaborators and an actual annual eligibility ID. Without You keeps David Guetta as lead artist; My Boo keeps Alicia Keys as co-lead.

First released means the earliest documented official public release of the selected recording. A year-only date does not assert a month or day. Later singles, chart years, compilations, remasters and reissues do not replace that date.
