Mariah Carey is a singer, songwriter and producer whose self-titled debut appeared in 1990. Her catalog places expansive ballads alongside rhythmic pop and R&B, with collaborations involving Boyz II Men, Jay-Z, Whitney Houston and Miguel. Merry Christmas introduced All I Want for Christmas Is You in 1994. Daydream and Butterfly document the mid-1990s repertoire, while The Emancipation of Mimi and Caution provide later starting points. The original 2025 single Type Dangerous extends this collection into her more recent recording work.
