ARTIST BACKGROUND

About Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez began her recording career with On the 6 in 1999 after establishing herself as an actress. The Bronx-born performer combined English-language R&B and dance-pop with Spanish-language songs, including a duet with Marc Anthony. Later records expanded the role of rap collaborations and electronic club production, while Como Ama una Mujer centered Spanish-language material. Her catalog also includes quieter ballads and film-linked singles, with the 2024 This Is Me...Now continuing her studio work.

About this artist collection

Jennifer Lopez is the solo artist, including the J.Lo spelling. Duets and rap guests remain fully credited. The original solo Ain't It Funny and later Murder Remix are different recordings; their mixed retained catalog rows are not silently treated as equivalent.

First released means the earliest documented official public release of the selected recording. A year-only date does not assert a month or day. Later singles, chart years, compilations, remasters and reissues do not replace that date.
