Labeled basic dosing
Give 200 mg IV on day 1, then 100 mg IV once daily from day 2. Infuse over 30-120 minutes. Course duration depends on hospitalization and disease severity.
Check hepatic laboratory tests and prothrombin time before treatment and as appropriate during therapy. Infusion reactions require access to emergency treatment.
