About The All-American Rejects
Song-specific inspiration or recording background is not established for this entry. This sourced artist profile provides career context.
The All-American Rejects grew out of backyard performances in Stillwater, Oklahoma, with Tyson Ritter on vocals and bass, guitarists Nick Wheeler and Mike Kennerty, and drummer Chris Gaylor. Their self-titled debut, Move Along and When the World Comes Down established a catalog of melodic guitar rock. Long after their early Warped Tour appearances, the band returned to informal settings with a self-funded House Party Tour, presenting free concerts in places including a university campus, a cornfield and a Nashville neighborhood.
