About Rae Sremmurd
Song-specific inspiration or recording background is not established for this entry. This sourced artist profile provides career context.
Rae Sremmurd is the hip-hop partnership of brothers Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi, who developed their music in Mississippi. Their recording career developed through Mike WiLL Made-It's Ear Drummer label and Interscope. SremmLife introduced the duo's albums in 2015, followed by SremmLife 2 and Black Beatles. The later SR3MM project combined a shared Rae Sremmurd album with the separate Swaecation and Jxmtroduction releases, giving each performer space for individual work within a larger joint release.
