About City Girls
Song-specific inspiration or recording background is not established for this entry. This sourced artist profile provides career context.
City Girls is the Miami rap partnership of Yung Miami and JT. Early recordings drew the attention of Quality Control Music, which released the mixtape Period in 2018. Girl Code followed that year with songs including Act Up and Twerk, bringing the pair's assertive delivery to a wider audience. City on Lock continued the album catalog in 2020. Their recordings connect the performers' contrasting voices with the dance-oriented traditions of Florida rap.
