Kenny G is Seattle-born saxophonist Kenneth Gorelick, whose early professional experience included Barry White's Love Unlimited Orchestra and the Jeff Lorber Fusion. His solo work brought the soprano saxophone into a mixture of jazz, pop and R&B. Albums included G Force, Gravity and Breathless, followed by projects exploring popular standards and holiday songs. Later collaborations and the Latin-oriented Rhythm & Romance broadened the instrumental settings found across his catalog.
