About The Spinners
Song-specific inspiration or recording background is not established for this entry. This sourced artist profile provides career context.
The Spinners developed from a Motown-associated R&B vocal group into a major part of Philadelphia soul. Their work with producer and songwriter Thom Bell joined individual lead voices to close harmonies, dance rhythms and orchestral arrangements. I'll Be Around and Could It Be I'm Falling in Love belong to that partnership, while later repertoire includes Games People Play and The Rubberband Man.
