About Dru Hill
Song-specific inspiration or recording background is not established for this entry. This sourced artist profile provides career context.
Dru Hill emerged from Baltimore with singers Jazz, Nokio, Woody and Sisqó. Local talent performances led toward an Island recording contract, and Tell Me appeared on the Eddie film soundtrack in 1996. The group's self-titled debut followed with songs including In My Bed and Never Make a Promise. Enter the Dru expanded the members' creative involvement, with These Are the Times among its repertoire, before separate solo projects and further group work.
