About Aztec Camera
Song-specific inspiration or recording background is not established for this entry. This sourced artist profile provides career context.
Aztec Camera served as a main outlet for Scottish singer, guitarist and songwriter Roddy Frame. Formed in 1980, the project moved from local recordings to the single Just Like Gold and the 1983 album High Land, Hard Rain, which included Oblivious. Frame worked with changing musicians across the group's later albums. After the final Aztec Camera studio releases of the 1990s, he continued recording under his own name and later revisited the debut in concert.
