About Inner Circle
Song-specific inspiration or recording background is not established for this entry. This sourced artist profile provides career context.
Inner Circle is a Jamaican reggae group whose history includes backing singer Eric Donaldson on Cherry, Oh Baby. Jacob Miller later became a central voice, with Tenement Yard appearing in the band's repertoire and in the film Rockers. After personnel changes, the group reached another broad audience through Bad Boys and Sweat (A La La La La Long). Television and film use helped carry its recordings beyond the original reggae audience.
