About Air Supply
Song-specific inspiration or recording background is not established for this entry. This sourced artist profile provides career context.
Air Supply developed around Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock after they met in an Australian production of Jesus Christ Superstar in 1975. Early performances paired their voices with Russell's guitar and songwriting. Love and Other Bruises established an Australian audience before Lost in Love attracted international label interest. The Arista period brought All Out of Love and The One That You Love, while later studio and live projects continued the partnership's emphasis on vocal harmony and melodic ballads.
