Researched recording background
Alibi reunites Ella Henderson with Rudimental, whose Major Tom label had signed her after her earlier work with Syco. The recording incorporates a sample from Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise. It connects Henderson's pop singing with a dance partnership that had already developed through the group's label and production network. A documented songwriting inspiration has not been established for this record; this is chart context, not a creative-origin account.
