Xscape were an R&B vocal quartet and the first act issued through Jermaine Dupri's So So Def label, launched in Atlanta in 1993. Their debut album Hummin' Comin' at 'Cha appeared that year. Off the Hook followed in 1995, with Traces of My Lipstick extending the sequence in 1998. The group's voices also reached the label's hip-hop repertoire through the featured appearance on Lil Bow Wow's Bounce with Me, from his 2000 album Beware of Dog.
