Inspiration and background
Researched recording background
Andrew Farriss and Michael Hutchence wrote this lead single from Kick, with Chris Thomas producing. The recording combines a spare funk-rock groove with electronic programming. Its well-known promotional video joins it to the separate album song Mediate; that video pairing is not a second recording of Need You Tonight.
