Stereophonics is a Welsh rock band whose recordings center on Kelly Jones's singing, guitar playing and songwriting. Word Gets Around began its album career in 1997. The compilation Decade in the Sun later surveyed that first stretch of work. For Keep Calm and Carry On, the band worked with producer Jim Abbiss, exploring leaner arrangements and a stronger vocal emphasis alongside its familiar guitar-and-drum sound.
