Never Say Never
Justin Bieber featuring Jaden Smith
2011
Annual listening-list association, not an original-release-date field. Original release year reconciled with reviewed recording-specific Artist Essentials evidence in v3.6.
Release: 2010
Release: 2010Source checked | Recent carryover
V3.6 reconciles the original release year with the reviewed Artist Essentials entry for this exact retained recording ID. Year precision is used; an album-first release is not silently replaced by a later single, reissue or annual-list year. The licensed Jaden Smith recording header explicitly dates this original studio recording to 2010. The 2011 remix EP repeats it; that package and the separate acoustic performance do not reset its first year.
The large badge identifies this listening list, not a newly issued recording. Later reissues and renewed chart popularity do not replace an original release date. How years are assigned.

Never Say Never - original recording header
The licensed recording header explicitly dates the Jaden Smith recording to June 2010. Its current parent is the 2011 remix EP; that later package date and the separate acoustic performance are not its first release.
