Inspiration and background
Researched recording background
React combines Switch Disco's dance production with Ella Henderson's vocal and a sample from Robert Miles' Children. Released by Relentless in January 2023, it extended the duo's work with mashups and club audiences into a prominent vocal single. Switch Disco's Dan Creasy and Nikos Kalogerias had developed that approach through years of DJ work. Retained list context: React by Switch Disco and Ella Henderson is included in the 2023 annual collection. The cited source identifies its annual or chart association. A documented songwriting inspiration has not been established for this record; this is chart context, not a creative-origin account.
Evidence scope: Sourced recording or credited-performer context. Exact audio identity and private songwriting motivation are not inferred.
