V3.6 reconciles the original release year with the reviewed Artist Essentials entry for this exact retained recording ID. Year precision is used; an album-first release is not silently replaced by a later single, reissue or annual-list year. The new studio song appeared in 1993, including on So Far So Good; the later Anthology package and 1994 annual year are not first releases.
The large badge identifies this listening list, not a newly issued recording. Later reissues and renewed chart popularity do not replace an original release date. How years are assigned.
Please Forgive Me - original track date
The individual recording retains an October 1993 date on the later Anthology package. Its 1993 So Far So Good association is corroborated by the artist discography; Anthology is not the original album.
