About P.M. Dawn
Song-specific inspiration or recording background is not established for this entry. This sourced artist profile provides career context.
P.M. Dawn began as the New Jersey partnership of brothers Prince Be and DJ Minutemix, combining sung and rapped vocals with turntables and carefully layered samples. Their debut album Of the Heart, of the Soul and of the Cross introduced Set Adrift on Memory Bliss in 1991. The Bliss Album followed with I'd Die Without You, also heard in Boomerang. Jesus Wept continued the group's melodic, soul-connected approach beyond its initial pop breakthrough.
