About New Colony Six
Song-specific inspiration or recording background is not established for this entry. This sourced artist profile provides career context.
The New Colony Six is a Chicago group whose early records joined garage-rock energy with vocal harmonies and prominent organ. I Confess and the album Breakthrough document that first period. The band later moved toward a more orchestrated pop sound, using horns and strings on recordings such as Things I'd Like to Say.
