Hot Boyz
Missy Elliott featuring Nas, Eve & Q-Tip
1999
Annual listening-list association, not an original-release-date field. Original release year reconciled with reviewed recording-specific Artist Essentials evidence in v3.6.
Release: 1999
Release: 1999Source checked
V3.6 reconciles the original release year with the reviewed Artist Essentials entry for this exact retained recording ID. Year precision is used; an album-first release is not silently replaced by a later single, reissue or annual-list year. Nas's publisher dates this collaboration to 1999. The distributor identifies the remix and its featured lineup. The later digital listing date and its inconsistent copyright fields are deliberately not used as first-release dates.
The large badge identifies this listening list, not a newly issued recording. Later reissues and renewed chart popularity do not replace an original release date. How years are assigned.

Universal Music Publishing Group: Nas artist biography
Nas's publisher identifies his Missy Elliott Hot Boyz collaboration in 1999. Used for the year of the Nas-bearing remix, not a chart day or the original album recording.
Qobuz: Hot Boyz featuring Nas, Eve and Q-Tip
The distributor names Nas, Eve and Q-Tip in the release credit, explicitly labels the Remix Original Version and credits Lil' Mo with ad-lib vocals. Its later digital-release and inconsistent copyright dates are not first-release evidence.
