V3.6 reconciles the original release year with the reviewed Artist Essentials entry for this exact retained recording ID. Year precision is used; an album-first release is not silently replaced by a later single, reissue or annual-list year. The original recording is on the 2001 Aaliyah album. Later 2002 singles, annual appearances and the I Care 4 U anthology do not redate this performance.
The large badge identifies this listening list, not a newly issued recording. Later reissues and renewed chart popularity do not replace an original release date. How years are assigned.
Aaliyah - original third album and earlier Try Again recording
The original 2001 program identifies Rock the Boat, More Than a Woman, I Care 4 U and We Need a Resolution featuring Timbaland. The included Try Again item retains its original 2000 date, before this album. Songwriting and session dates are not public releases.
