Annual listening-list association, not an original-release-date field. Original release year reconciled with reviewed recording-specific Artist Essentials evidence in v3.6.
Release: 2009
Release: 2009Source checked | Recent carryover
V3.6 reconciles the original release year with the reviewed Artist Essentials entry for this exact retained recording ID. Year precision is used; an album-first release is not silently replaced by a later single, reissue or annual-list year. The original recording's October 2009 single field precedes the 2010 Raymond v Raymond album and annual appearance. Only the original 2009 year is assigned.
The large badge identifies this listening list, not a newly issued recording. Later reissues and renewed chart popularity do not replace an original release date. How years are assigned.

Raymond v Raymond - original program and earlier/later single fields
Papers preserves its original October 2009 single field before the 2010 album. There Goes My Baby and OMG retain their 2010 pre-album fields; OMG explicitly credits will.i.am. DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love with Pitbull is separately dated July 2010, not the expanded album's March header or a 2011 annual appearance.
