About Three Days Grace
Song-specific inspiration or recording background is not established for this entry. This sourced artist profile provides career context.
Three Days Grace began in Norwood, Ontario, with Adam Gontier, bassist Brad Walst and drummer Neil Sanderson. Moving to Toronto brought them together with producer Gavin Brown, whose work on their early recordings preceded a Jive deal and the self-titled debut featuring I Hate Everything About You. Heavy guitar dynamics and dark melodic writing shaped that early identity. The lineup including guitarist Barry Stock made One-X with producer Howard Benson, while extensive touring brought the band onto stages with Nickelback, Staind and the Rolling Stones.
