About Wu-Tang Clan
Song-specific inspiration or recording background is not established for this entry. This sourced artist profile provides career context.
Wu-Tang Clan emerged from Staten Island, New York, in the early 1990s. RZA's production brought sampled textures and references to martial-arts cinema together with the contrasting delivery of rappers including GZA, Method Man, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah. The group's 1993 debut album, 36 Chambers, was followed by Wu-Tang Forever in 1997. Members also pursued solo records and collaborations, giving the group a wider network of related releases while retaining distinct individual voices.

Sony Music Japan - Wu-Tang Clan profile
Read the complete Japanese label biography for Staten Island and early-1990s emergence, RZA's sample-based production, selected members, martial-arts/cinematic references, the 1993 debut and Wu-Tang Forever in 1997, and parallel solo/collaboration careers. Use the short 36 Chambers album reference because the source adds an erroneous Clan to the longer English title. The named rappers are examples, not a complete founding/current membership list; omit sales, cultural-superiority and permanence claims. | Retrieved 2026-10-19
