About Jungle Brothers
Song-specific inspiration or recording background is not established for this entry. This sourced artist profile provides career context.
Jungle Brothers brought Mike Gee, Afrika Baby Bam and DJ Sammy B together in New York hip-hop. Their early work helped establish a jazz-oriented approach to rap, with Straight Out the Jungle introducing the group's album career in 1988. I'll House You and Black Is Black were part of that first period. A move to Warner Bros. preceded Done by the Forces of Nature, while later projects included J Beez wit the Remedy and V.I.P.
