About N.W.A.
N.W.A. emerged from Compton, California, with a forceful style of rap focused on street life and challenges to authority. Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren and DJ Yella were central to its recorded identity. Straight Outta Compton established the group's voice in 1988, followed by 100 Miles and Runnin' and Efil4zaggin. The members' individual recording careers remain distinct from the group catalog.
