About The Smashing Pumpkins
The Smashing Pumpkins formed in Chicago in 1988, with Billy Corgan and James Iha at the beginning of the group. Their album sequence moved from Gish in 1991 to Siamese Dream in 1993 and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness in 1995. Adore and Machina followed before the band dissolved in 2000. Corgan later revived the Pumpkins, releasing Zeitgeist in 2007 and continuing the band's recording career.
