About Bobby Darin
Bobby Darin developed in New York as a songwriter and singer before his recordings moved between rock and roll, swing and folk-oriented material. Splish Splash and Dream Lover established his early pop repertoire. The album That's All brought Mack the Knife and Beyond the Sea to audiences who also followed traditional vocal standards. Darin extended his work into nightclub performances, films and television, while later songwriting addressed social issues alongside his continuing interpretations of other writers' songs.
