About B.B. King
B.B. King developed his blues career from Mississippi roots into Memphis radio and recording. Work as a performer and disc jockey at WDIA accompanied his early records, followed by national attention for Three O'Clock Blues. Live at the Regal documented his concert work, while The Thrill Is Gone brought his singing and guitar to a broad audience. Later collaborations included recordings with Bobby Bland, U2 and Eric Clapton, including the shared album Riding with the King.
