About Ride
Ride is the Oxford band formed by Andy Bell, Mark Gardener, Steve Queralt and Laurence Colbert in 1988. Early Creation Records EPs and the album Nowhere helped establish its layered guitar sound within shoegaze. Going Blank Again followed before the original breakup. The reunited band later recorded Weather Diaries and This Is Not a Safe Place.
