About Nicolette Larson
Nicolette Larson moved from background singing into a solo career that crossed country rock, soft rock and country. Her early professional work included David Nichtern and the Nocturnes and recordings and tours with Commander Cody. After moving to Los Angeles she also worked as a studio vocalist. Lotta Love became her best-known pop recording, while her later 1980s work increasingly emphasized country music. That path connects her solo catalog with the California session scene.
