About Love Affair
Love Affair developed from a young North London band built around drummer Maurice Bacon and singer Steve Ellis. Its club repertoire drew strongly on American soul before CBS recordings brought wider recognition. Ellis sang the hit singles with session-musician backing, while band members also played on other material. The catalog includes Everlasting Love, Rainbow Valley and A Day Without Love.
