About Strawbs
Strawbs began as the Strawberry Hill Boys, a British acoustic group rooted in bluegrass and folk. Singer and guitarist Dave Cousins guided the band's development toward progressive folk-rock, with changing lineups and expanded keyboard arrangements. Albums including Grave New World and Bursting at the Seams document that transition from its earlier acoustic approach.
