About Peter and Gordon
Peter and Gordon was the British folk-pop duo of Peter Asher and Gordon Waller. The two met at Westminster School and began performing together before finding international success during the 1960s. Their repertoire drew on songs supplied by Paul McCartney, including A World Without Love, Nobody I Know and I Don't Want to See You Again. Woman continued that association, appearing with McCartney's writing credited under the pseudonym Bernard Webb rather than the familiar Lennon-McCartney partnership.
