About Cold Crush Brothers
The Cold Crush Brothers emerged in the Bronx during hip-hop's early development. DJs Charlie Chase and Tony Tone helped assemble the group, with Grandmaster Caz joining its MC lineup. Live shows, battles and circulating performance tapes were central to their reputation. Their appearances extended from neighborhood parties to venues such as the Roxy and Harlem World, combining DJ work with a carefully developed group stage presence.
