About LeAnn Rimes
LeAnn Rimes is a singer whose career connects traditional country singing with pop ballads and other vocal projects. Raised in Texas after an early childhood in Mississippi, she performed in talent shows and musical theatre before Blue brought her a national audience in 1996. She won Best New Artist at the 1997 Grammy Awards, and How Do I Live extended her pop repertoire. Later work includes the country standards project Lady & Gentlemen and the meditative album CHANT: The Human & The Holy.
